Steel scrap / Foundry scrap
Scrap processing: Steel scrap of various specifications is recycled in the processing centers of Scholz Recycling AG & Co. KG into various end products which subsequently find their way directly back into the economic cycle as secondary raw materials in steel plants. Our sites with industrial recycling equipment employ shredders and zerdirators, mobile and stationary scrap shears, as well as presses.
Foundry scrap processing: Machine scrap and foundry scrap are directed to our drop works for processing. In addition, at our sites we recycle special steel scrap (girders, sheet metal, and rails) which can meet the quality demands of foundries. In addition to drop works, we utilize rail breakers and scrap shears for these recycling processes.
