East Region

The Regional Division East of Scholz Recycling AG & Co. KG comprises about 60 storage and processing centers for steel scrap and all kind of metals. The various sites in Brandenburg, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia each utilize nearly the entire range of processing facilities. These include the most advanced shredder systems, scrap shears, rail breakers, baling presses, cable stripping systems, drop works, car presses and chip briquette presses. Our processing centers are specialized in the production of steel mill products and foundry scrap. Blanket coverage of all types of nonferrous metal scrap and alloyed steel scrap is also provided by the Regional Division East. In total, 250 vehicles and 3,000 containers guarantee of an efficient logistics system of transport by road and rail.
